Peach fruit punch

About the dish

Boksunga hwachae is a summer fruit punch made with peaches — sweetly fragrant and cooling. A seasonal drink for savoring the scent of ripe peaches at Chobok, the first dog day of summer.

Key ingredient

Peach (boksunga) — its water and vitamins benefit the skin, while sugars and organic acids restore energy and revive the appetite. Peak in August, mainly from North Gyeongsang.

Simple recipe

  1. Dice the peaches.
  2. Make honey water or omija water.
