About the dish

Namdo hanjeongsik is a set table of dozens of dishes — hongeo (skate), jeotgal and fermented foods among them — the pinnacle of southern cooking famed for its cooks' touch. Tidy yet lavish, one table holds all the abundance of the Namdo region.

Main: rice, hongeo (skate), jeotgal, jeon, namul, gulbi (dried yellow croaker), kimchi · Seasoning: yangnyeomjang (seasoning sauce), gochujang

Simple recipe

  1. Prepare Namdo seafood, hongeo, jeotgal and namul.
  2. Plate the many side dishes on small dishes.
  3. Add soups and steamed dishes alongside.
  4. Lay the table out generously.
  5. Serve as a full Namdo spread.
