Dried radish-green rice with soy-paste sauce, a frugal winter dish
Siraegi-bap is rice cooked with boiled dried radish greens laid on top, then mixed at the table with a seasoned soy sauce. It was a thrifty way to add nourishment in winter, when fresh vegetables were scarce and siraegi filled the gap.
